About European Trainee Academy
Who we are
European Trainee Academy is the Spanish partner that European schools, teachers, and educational organisations turn to when they want to train, learn, and bring groups to the Mediterranean. We deliver one-week Erasmus+ teacher training courses and thematic student group programmes from a gated campus inside Benalmádena International College, on the Costa del Sol near Málaga. Programmes run in English and Spanish.
Whether your school books through Erasmus+ (KA-122 or KA-121 for school-education mobility, KA-152 for youth exchanges) or pays directly, we handle the curriculum, the accommodation, the meals, the transfers, and the documentation.
We exist so European educators and their students can spend a productive week on the Mediterranean — not on logistics.

Our Story
With over a decade of experience managing teacher and student exchanges with partner schools across Europe, we set up our own campus in Benalmádena to make Erasmus+ mobilities and self-paid school groups easier to plan, run, and report.
We don’t believe in one-way teaching. We believe in:
- Education as a lifelong journey, not a one-time process
- International experiences as a way to build skills and confidence
- Personal development as the foundation for success in the 21st century
We built EUTA so European schools and teachers could spend their week learning, exchanging, and being on the Costa del Sol — not coordinating bus rentals and invoice templates.
Today, EUTA is where teachers refresh their methods and student groups have the kind of week they remember. Dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused.

Our Location
Our campus sits in Benalmádena on the Costa del Sol, twenty minutes from Málaga airport. Education happens under the Mediterranean sun, with cultural immersion built into the week.
Year-round warm climate, English and Spanish language programmes, excursions across Andalusia, and beachside learning — all in one of Spain’s most connected coastal towns.

Originally from the Czech Republic, Fran graduated from Sušice Gymnasium and went on to study tourism at a higher vocational school in Plzeň — a field that has stayed close to her heart ever since. She caught the travel bug early: in summer 2015 she joined the Work and Travel programme in Anchorage, Alaska, and in 2017 she worked in a gift shop in Seattle. Those seasons gave her real working experience and a wider perspective on the world. Back in Czechia, she has also worked as a sales agent at a travel agency and as a guide at the Pilsner brewery in Plzeň.
Outside work, Fran travels whenever she can, reads a lot, and stays active with running, cycling and tennis. She also enjoys quiet afternoons in the garden or long evenings with friends. Her greatest joy, though, is her young son — every day with him turns into a small adventure.
