Cable car up Mount Calamorro in Benalmádena

Benalmádena

Benalmádena is a charming coastal town with three distinct areas: the historic Pueblo (old village), the lively Costa (beachfront), and the modern Arroyo de la Miel (town centre). Together they offer everything from cobbled streets and whitewashed houses to sandy beaches and a buzzing marina.

Home to Tivoli World, the Colomares Castle, a cable car to the top of Mount Calamorro, and the stunning Puerto Marina — voted one of the best marinas in the world — Benalmádena packs an incredible amount into a small, walkable area.

Málaga & Andalusia

Just 20 minutes away, Málaga is a vibrant cultural capital with the Picasso Museum, the Alcazaba fortress, a stunning cathedral, and one of Spain’s most exciting food scenes. It’s the perfect day trip for our students and teachers.

Andalusia is Spain’s largest region — a land of flamenco, olive groves, and Moorish architecture. From the Alhambra in Granada to the Mezquita in Córdoba and the cathedral in Seville, some of Europe’s most iconic cultural landmarks are within easy reach for weekend excursions.
