At European Trainee Academy, we believe education goes beyond classrooms. We are dedicated to transforming learning through innovative, project-based programmes that empower teachers, students, and schools to thrive in today’s global world.
As proud participants in the Erasmus+ programme, we provide fully funded or self-funded opportunities for professional development, cultural exchange, and international mobility.
Our mission is to empower students and teachers with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.
Our Story
With experience of over 10 years of managing student and teacher exchange programmes with different partner schools around Europe, we decided to establish a unique campus of our own to promote access to education abroad through Erasmus+ programmes to all schools around Europe and make their dream projects a reality.
Traditional, one-way teaching methods never worked for us. Instead, we believe in a different approach:
- Education as a lifelong journey, not a one-time process
- International experiences as the key to building skills and confidence
- Personal development as the foundation for success in the 21st century
With this vision, we set out to create an academy that helps young students gain better university and career opportunities, and supports teachers in becoming more effective, inspired, and globally minded professionals.
Today, EUTA stands as a place where learning is dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused — designed to help every participant aim higher and achieve more.
Our Location
Our academy is located in Benalmádena on the Costa del Sol, just minutes from Málaga Airport. Here, education happens under the Mediterranean sun, combining high-quality training with cultural immersion.
Year-round warm climate, English and Spanish language programmes, excursions, cultural activities, and beachside learning — all in one of Spain’s most beautiful coastal towns.

Viktor Nyitray
Co-Founder & Director
Viktor co-founded European Trainee Academy with the vision of making Erasmus+ mobility accessible to schools across Europe. With a background in education management and international project coordination, he oversees EUTA’s strategic direction, partnerships, and programme development.
Lucas
Co-Founder & Operations
Lucas brings years of hands-on experience in organising student exchanges and teacher training programmes. As co-founder, he manages day-to-day operations, logistics, and ensures every group that visits EUTA has an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.

David Thompson
Mentor
Senior CLIL trainer with over 12 years of experience in international teacher education. Originally from the UK, David specialises in content and language integrated learning methodologies and has trained over 2,000 teachers from across Europe. Senior CLIL trainer with over 12 years of experience in international teacher education. Originally from the UK, David specialises in content and language integrated learning methodologies and has trained over 2,000 teachers from across Europe. His workshops focus on practical classroom strategies that teachers can implement immediately upon returning to their schools. David holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh and has published research on the effectiveness of CLIL in secondary education settings. Before joining EUTA, he worked as a curriculum developer for the British Council in Spain, where he designed teacher training programmes for public school systems. He is passionate about creating collaborative learning environments where educators from different countries can share their experiences and develop new approaches to teaching together. In his free time, David enjoys hiking the coastal trails of Andalusia and is an avid photographer, often capturing the stunning landscapes around Benalmádena that make EUTA such a unique place to learn and grow.
Maria Garcia Lopez
Teacher
Bilingual education specialist and certified Erasmus+ trainer based in Malaga. With a background in linguistics and primary education, Maria brings 8 years of experience in designing and delivering teacher training workshops focused on multilingual classrooms.

Who We Serve

We work primarily with schools and institutions that send groups of students abroad for Erasmus+ mobility programmes. These group exchanges combine language learning, cultural immersion, and international experience.
